Bill Sutton
A legacy staff member whose tenure predates the hotel’s opening, Bill is a lifelong San Franciscan who never tires of sharing his hometown – and its many urban and rural foot trails – with visitors. “Everyone asks their phone for dining or shopping advice but the concierge is your human Google. Chris has lived in San Francisco for 25 years and delights in the art, the music, the food, the museums, the neighborhoods, and the diversity of “one of the great cities of the world.” As a certified sommelier, he has traveled extensively throughout the Bay Area and Northern California and enjoys helping guests plan day trips to the nearby Wine Country and sharing his insider tips on the best things to see and do in San Francisco.

Mark Foehringer’s Nutcracker Sweets 2024
Celebrate the holidays from December 7 to 22 at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture with Mark Foehringer’s Nutcracker Sweets, a 50-minute production of the classic holiday ballet for families with small children and audiences of all ages. This special production is danced storytelling that is affordable, magical, zany, and fun!
The Golden Girls Christmas Episodes
San Francisco's holiday event, The Golden Girls Live: The Christmas Episodes, is moving to the Curran Theatre for its 19th year. Directed by D’Arcy Drollinger, it features drag legends in parody episodes. The cast includes Miss Coco Peru as Dorothy, Matthew Martin as Blanche, D’Arcy Drollinger as Rose, and Holotta Tymes as Sophia, with music support from Manuel Caneri, Michael Phillis, and Tom Shaw. The show runs from December 5 to 22; tickets are available!
